Réjean Gosselin - Chairman
Mr. Gosselin is a geologist and has obtained a Master degree in geology from Université Laval in 1979. For more than 25 years, he has been a director and an officer of Canadian public mining companies. Prior to founding Maya Gold & Silver in 2008, Mr. Gosselin was President, CEO and Director of Dia Bras Exploration Inc.
John G. Booth - Director
John G Booth graduated from the University of Guelph in 1986 with a BSc (Hons) majoring in biology and minoring in environmental studies. He then completed a joint program in Canadian and US law, graduating with both LLB from the University of Windsor and JD from the University of Detroit in 1989. He then practiced law in Toronto before joining Merrill Lynch International in 1990. In 1993, he obtained his LLM in international finance and environmental law at King's College, University of London. From 1993 to 1996, he was co-founder and director of Cedef Finance Ltd. in London and Geneva. In 1996-7, he worked as a manager of financial engineering with ABN AMRO Bank NV in London and Amsterdam. In 1998, John was a partner in Origin, a strategy consulting firm which advised the board of CIBC on intellectual property as a capital asset. In 1999, John became Chairman and CEO of BuyFX Ltd. in Hamilton (Bermuda). Additionally, in 2002 and 2003, he worked in the merger and acquisition sector with Federal Capital City Advisors in Washington DC. In 2004, Mr. Booth returned to London (UK), where he is a partner with Conservation Finance International, the trading name of JAS Financial Products LP. John is also the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Laramide Resources Ltd. (a mining company listed on the TSX) of Toronto and Brisbane (Australia), a non-executive Directors of Tirex Resources Ltd and H2O Innovation (a water technology company listed on the TSX-V) and a Director of Ottawa RiverKeeper charity.
René Branchaud - Director
René Branchaud holds an LLB from Université Laval obtained in 1982. He has been a lawyer since 1983 and is a partner of the law firm Lavery, de Billy, L.L.P. He is currently director of Malaga Inc. and Dynacor Gold Mines Inc., both mining companies listed on the TSX. Mr. Branchaud is also acting as director of Dacha Capital Inc. and Cadiscor Resources Inc., public companies listed on the TSX-V.
Guy Goulet - President & CEO
Guy Goulet graduated with an engineering degree in geology from l'Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal in 1986. Mr. Goulet has sat on several boards of directors for both public and private mining companies over the past 25 years. For the period between 2000 to 2008, he was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of H2O Innovation, the first public company with a dual listing on the TSX Venture Exchange and the Alternext Exchange in Paris. Noureddine Mokaddem - Vice-President, Chief Operating Officer & Director
Mr. Noureddine Mokaddem has held senior role within YNNA Holding, ONA Group and OCP Group and has been important in the development of several large projects and mining operations such as Akka Gold Mining and Guemassa Mining Complex in Morocco. He is a Professional Industrial Engineer and holds a B.Sc. Engineering from State School of Engineers, Mons in Belgium.
Roland A. Wismer - Director
Mr. Friederich Roland Wismer holds a degree in export business from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and an MBA from the European School of Management located in Cologne, Germany. He worked for close to 5 years with Credit Suiss in Lima (Peru), New York, Mexico City, Panama City, Bogota and Zurich (Switzerland). From September 1988 to February 1995, he has been the Head of Finance of Commercial Metals Company Holding AG and the Managing Director of CMC Finanz AG both in Switzerland. Since February 1995, he has been the Head of Finance of International Division of Commercial Metals Company in the United Stated, the Head of Finance of Commercial Metals International AG and of CMC (International) AG. During that period and still today, he also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Commercial Metals International AG and on various other boards.
Martin Wong - Director
Mr. Wong is a chartered accountant and an experienced corporate financial executive, investment banker and chartered accountant accomplished in investments, capital markets, investment banking, relation management, and loan restructuring. He holds Bachelor of Business Administration from Bishop's University and is a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec. During the past 5 years he has been acting as Vice President - Investment Banking - Dundee Securities Corporation where he structured, developed and completed several capital market transactions, including initial public offering transactions, capital market equity issues, private placements, and M & A transactions in the real estate, resource and industrial sectors. Mr. Wong is currently acting as a consultant with TGW Valuecom Inc.
